KDComs was established in 2005 by Karen Donhue, specialist in editorial, project management and training for companies .
Karen has a degree in Economics and Econometrics from Manchester University and moved to London in 1985.
She spent 17 years working at RSA insurance, having joined Sun Alliance in their Life Assurance business and then moving through HR, IS, Strategic Planning and Public Relations. Following a move to Investor Relations, she was increasingly involved in producing written communications for acquisitions, disposals, bond and rights issues as well as the project management and drafting of the Annual Report.
In 2005, Karen decided to make a career change to concentrate on working with companies on improving their written stakeholder communications and shortly afterwards moved to Gloucestershire. Since that time she has been contracted to work on projects with companies such as National Grid, Boots, Camelot, Marks and Spencer and Royal Dutch Shell as well as agencies such as Conran, RR Donnelley, LikeMind (Corporate Edge), Imprima and Addison.
Since 2010, Karen has also been providing help, advice and support to authors who are working to get their first books in to print. She is passionate about helping them to succeed.
